[HARRY POTTER] – CHALLENGE « 1 an pour tout relire ! » [ 2/7 ]

HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS

Bon, l’histoire vous la connaissez : un garçon à l’apparence ordinaire apprend soudain qu’il est un sorcier et qu’il est admis à Poudlard, la plus grande école de sorciers jamais connue dirigée par le plus grand sorcier de tous les temps, Dumbledore. Là-bas, il rencontre Ron et Hermione, deux amis qui s’avèreront loyaux et se fait un ennemi : Voldemort (Oups ! Je voulais dire Celui-Dont-On-Ne-Doit-Pas-Prononcer-Le-Nom ! ) et blablabla… La suite, pas la peine de vous la raconter, vous la savez déjà ! ^^

C’est pourquoi j’ai décidé, comme Marine (atouchofbluemarine), de faire un article sur mes répliques préférées ainsi que mes critiques sur les personnages, les moments-clés de l’histoire…etc au lieu d’un article donnant mon avis, comme je le fais d’ordinaire. Dans le cadre du challenge « 1 an pour tout relire ! » (plus d’info ici ) proposé par atouchofbluemarine, je ferais un article dans ce genre-là pour les 7 tomes d’Harry Potter. Étant donné que je lis la saga en VO, je mettrais toutes mes citations tirées du livre en anglais ! « Don’t worry ! », même si l’anglais n’est pas votre truc, je suis persuadée que vous saurez comprendre ce dont je veux vous parler ! 😉

Le Voleur de Lettres le plus adorable !

« See what it’s like here ? » he said. « See why I’ve got to go back to Hogwarts? It’s the only place I’ve got – well, I think I’ve got friends. »

« Friends who don’t even write to Harry Potter? » said Dobby slyly.

« I expect they’ve just been – wait a minute, » said Harry, frowning. « How do you know my friends haven’t been writing to me ? »

Dobby shuffled his feet. « Harry Potter mustn’t be angry with Dobby. Dobby did it for the best – »

« Have you been stopping my letters? » […]

Dobby blinked anxiously up at Harry. « Harry Potter mustn’t be angry… Dobby hoped… if Harry Potter thought his friends had forgotten him… Harry Potter might not want to go back to school, sir… »

… Et il ne faut pas l’énerver !

« Come, Dobby. I said, come. »

But Dobby didn’t move. He was holding up Harry’s disgusting, slimy sock, and looking at it as though it were a priceless treasure. « Master has given a sock, » said the elf on wonderment. « Master gave it to Dobby ».

« What’s that? » spat Mr. Malfoy. « What did you say? »

« Got a sock », said Dobby in disbelief. « Master threw it, and Dobby caught it, and Dobby – Dobby is free. »

Lucius Malfoy stood frozen, staring at the elf. Then he lunged at Harry. « You’ve lost me my servant, boy! »

But Dobby shouted, « You shall not harm Harry Potter! » There was a loud bang, and Mr. Malfoy was thrown backward.

(Je n’ai qu’un chose à dire : « Ouais ! Bien envoyé Dobby !!! » ^^)

QUAND RON REÇOIT LA BEUGLANTE…

« She’s – she’s sent me a Howler, » said Ron faintly.

« You’d better open it, Ron » said Neville in a timid whisper. « It’ll be worse if you don’t. My gran sent me one once, and I ignored it and » – he gulped – « It was horrible ». […]

« Open it, » Neville urged. « It’ll be over in a few minutes- »

Ron streched out a shakind head […] Neville stuffed his fingers in his ears. A split second later, Harry know why. He thought for a moment it had exploded; a roar of sound filled the huge hall.

« – STEALING THE CAR, I WOULDN’T HAVE BEEN SURPRISED IF THEY’D EXPELLED YOU ! […] I DON’T SUPPOSE YOU STOPPED TO THINK WHAT YOUR FATHER AND I WENT TROUGH WHEN WE SAW IT WAS GONE- » […]

People troughout the hall were swiveling around to see who had received the Howler. […]

« -LETTER FROM DUMBLEDORE LAST NIGHT, I THOUGHT YOUR FATHER WOULD DIE OF SHAME […] YOU AND HARRY COULD BOTH HAVE DIED […] – ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED – YOUR FATHER’S FACING AN INQUIRY AT WORK, IT’S ENTIRELY YOU FAULT AND IF YOU PUT ANOTHER TOE OUT OF LINE WE’LL BRING YOU STRAIGHT BACH HOME ».

A ringing silence fell. […] Hermione closed Voyages with Vampires and looked down at the top of Ron’s head. « Well, I don’t know what you expected, Ron, but you- »

« Don’t tell me I deserved it », snapped Ron.

RON ET LES ARAIGNÉES : une longue histoire …

Ron was standing well back and seemed to be fighting the impulse to run.

« What’s up? » said Harry.

« I – don’t – like – spiders, » said Ron tensely.

« I never knew that, » said Hermione, looking at Ron in surprise. « You’ve used spiders in Potions loads of times… »

« I don’t mind them dead, » said Ron, who was carefully looking anywhere but at the window. « I just don’t like the way they move… »

Hermione giggled. « It’s not funny », said Ron fiercely. « If you must know, when I was three, Fred turned my – my teddy bear into a great big filthy spider because I broke his toy broomstick… »

[…] Hermione was obviously still trying not to laugh.

La Chambre des Secrets

The heir alone would be able to unseal the Chamber of Secrets […] and used it to purge the school of all who where unworthy to study magic. »

There was a silence as he finished telling the story.

L’apparition de FUMSECK

Standing on a golden perch behind the door was a decrepit-looking bird that resembled a half-plucked turkey. […] Its eyes were dull and, even as Harry watched, a couple more feathers fell out of its tail. Harry was just thinking that all he need was for Dumbledore’s pet bird to die while he was alone in the office wih it, when the bird burst into flames. […]

The office door opened. Dumbledore came in, looking very somber.

« Professor », Harry gasped. « Your bird – I couldn’t do anything – he just caught fire – »

To Harry’s astonishment, Dumbledore smiled. « About time, too », he said. » He’s been looking dreadful for days; I’ve been telling him to get a move on. » He chuckled at the stunned look on Harry’s face. « Fawkes is a phoenix, Harry. Phoenixes burst into flame when it is time for them to die and are reborn from the ashes. Watch him… »

Harry looked down in time to see a tiny, wrinkled, newborn bird.

« It’s a shame you had to see him on a Burning Day », said Dumbledore, seatiing behind the desk. « He’s really very handsome most of the time, wonderful red and gold plumage. Fascinating creatures… »
