[HARRY POTTER] – CHALLENGE « 1 an pour tout relire ! » [ 3/7 ]

HARRY POTTER AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN

Bon, l’histoire vous la connaissez : un garçon à l’apparence ordinaire apprend soudain qu’il est un sorcier et qu’il est admis à Poudlard, la plus grande école de sorciers jamais connue dirigée par le plus grand sorcier de tous les temps, Dumbledore. Là-bas, il rencontre Ron et Hermione, deux amis qui s’avèreront loyaux et se fait un ennemi : Voldemort (Oups ! Je voulais dire Celui-Dont-On-Ne-Doit-Pas-Prononcer-Le-Nom ! ) et blablabla… La suite, pas la peine de vous la raconter, vous la savez déjà ! ^^

C’est pourquoi j’ai décidé, comme Marine (atouchofbluemarine), de faire un article sur mes répliques préférées ainsi que mes critiques sur les personnages, les moments-clés de l’histoire…etc au lieu d’un article donnant mon avis, comme je le fais d’ordinaire. Dans le cadre du challenge « 1 an pour tout relire ! » (plus d’info ici ) proposé par atouchofbluemarine, je ferais un article dans ce genre-là pour les 7 tomes d’Harry Potter. Étant donné que je lis la saga en VO, je mettrais toutes mes citations tirées du livre en anglais ! « Don’t worry ! », même si l’anglais n’est pas votre truc, je suis persuadée que vous saurez comprendre ce dont je veux vous parler ! 😉

Buckbeak

« Right – who wants ter go first? »

[…] « I’ll do it », said Harry.

[…] « Good man, Harry! » roared Hagrid. « Right then – let’s see how yeh get on with Buckbeak ».

He untied one of the chains, pulled the gray hippogriff away from its fellow, and slipped off its leather collar.The class on the other side of the paddock seemed to be holding its breath. Malfoy’s eyes narrowed maliciously.

« Easy, now, Harry », said Hagrid quietly. « Yeh’ve got eye contact, now try not ter blink. …Hippogriffs don’ trust yeh if yeh blink too much… »

Harry’s eyes immediately began to water, but he didn’t shut them. Buckbeak had turned his great, sharp head and was staring at Harry with one fierce orange eye.

« That’s it », said Hagrid. »That’s it, Harry…now, bow… »

Harry didn’t fell much like exposing the back of his neck to Buckbeak, but he did as he was told. He gave a short bow and then looked up. The hippogriff was still staring haughtily at him. It didn’t move.

« Ah », said Hagrid, souding worried. » Right – back away, now, Harry, easy does it-«

But then, to Harry’s enormous surprise, the hippogriff suddenly bent its scaly front knees and sank into what was an unmistakable bow.

J’adore ce moment ! Et, entre nous, on ne peut qu’apprécier Buck, vu la raclée qu’il donne à Malefoy ensuite! ^^

QUAND LE PROFESSEUR TRELAWNEY A DES VISIONS…

She lowered her huge eyes to Harry’s cup again and continued to turn it.

« The club… an attack. Dear, dear, this is no a happy cup… »

« I thought that was a bowler hat », said Ron sheepishly. ( Ron et la divination, ça fait deux ! XD )

« The skull… danger in your path, my dear… »

Everyone was staring transfixed, at Professor Trelawney, who gave the cup a final turn, gasped, and then screamed. […] Professor Trelawney sank into a vacant armchair, her glittering hand at her heart and her eyes closed.

« My dear boy… my poor, dear boy…no… It is kinder not to say…no… don’t ask me… »

« What is it, Professor? », said Dean Thomas at once. […]

« My dear », Professor Trelawney’s huge eyes opened dramatically, « you have the Grim. »

« The what? » said Harry. […]

« The Grim, my dear, the Grim! » cried ProfessorTrelawney, who looked shocked that Harry hadn’t understood. « The giant, spectral dog that haunts churchyards! My dear boy, it is an omen – the worst omen – of DEATH ! »

Quand on sait qui est réellement le « Sinistros », il y a de quoi rire ! 😉

QUAND McGONAGALL CRITIQUE TRELAWNEY…

He hardly heard what Professor McGonagall was telling them about Animagi (wizards who could transform at will into animals), and wasn’t even watching when she transformed herself in front of their eyes into a tabby cat with spectacle markings around her eyes.

« Really , waht has got into you all today? » said Professor McGonagall, turning back into herself whith a faint « pop », and staring around at them all. »Not that it matters, but that’s the first time my transformation’s not got applause from a class. »

Everybody’s heads turned toward Harry again, but nobody spoke. Then Hermione raised her hand.

« Please, Professor, we’ve just had our first Divination class, and we were reading the tea leaves, and -«

« Ah, of course », said Professor McGonagall, suddenly frowning. « There is no need to say anymore, Mis Granger. Tell me, which of you will be dying this year ? »

Everyone stared at her.

« Me », said Harry, finally.

« I see », said Professor McGonagall, fixing Harry with her beady eyes. « Then, you should know, Potter, that Sybill Trelawney has predicted the death of one student a year since she arrived at this school. None of them died yet. Seeing death omens is her favourite way of greeting a new class. If it were not for the fact that I never speak ill of my colleagues-« , Professor McGonagall broke off and they saw that her nostrils had gone white. She went on, more calmly, « Divination is one of the most imprecise branches of magic. I shall not conceal from you that I have very little patience with it. True Seers are very rare, and Professor Trelawney… » She stopped again, and then said, in a very matter-of-fact tone, « You look in excellent health to me, Potter, so you will excuse me if I don’t let you off homework today. I assure you that if you die, you need not hand it in. »

Ah… L’humour de McGonagall, c’est toujours quelque chose de grandiose ! 😉

ET L’INSTANT DUMBLEDORE (of course !)

« What we need », said Dumbledore slowly, and his light-blue eyes moved from Harry to Hermione, « is more TIME ».

« But-« , Hermion began. And then her eyes becamevery round. « OH! »

« Now, pay attention », said Dumbledore, speaking very low, and very clearly. « Sirius is locked in Professor Flitwick’s office on the seventh floor. Thirteen window from the right of the West Tower. If all goes well, you will be able to save more than one innocent life tonight ( Définitivement ma phrase préférée du film !). But remember this, both of you. Youst not be seen. Miss Granger, you know the law – you know what is at stake… you – must – not – be – seen ». […] « I am going to lock you in. It is -« , he consulted his watch, « five minutes to midnight. Miss Granger, three turns should do it. Good luck. »
