[HARRY POTTER] – CHALLENGE « 1 an pour tout relire ! » [ 4/7 ]

HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE

Bon, l’histoire vous la connaissez : un garçon à l’apparence ordinaire apprend soudain qu’il est un sorcier et qu’il est admis à Poudlard, la plus grande école de sorciers jamais connue dirigée par le plus grand sorcier de tous les temps, Dumbledore. Là-bas, il rencontre Ron et Hermione, deux amis qui s’avèreront loyaux et se fait un ennemi : Voldemort (Oups ! Je voulais dire Celui-Dont-On-Ne-Doit-Pas-Prononcer-Le-Nom ! ) et blablabla… La suite, pas la peine de vous la raconter, vous la savez déjà ! ^^

C’est pourquoi j’ai décidé, comme Marine (atouchofbluemarine), de faire un article sur mes répliques préférées ainsi que mes critiques sur les personnages, les moments-clés de l’histoire…etc au lieu d’un article donnant mon avis, comme je le fais d’ordinaire. Dans le cadre du challenge « 1 an pour tout relire ! » (plus d’info ici ) proposé par atouchofbluemarine, je ferais un article dans ce genre-là pour les 7 tomes d’ Harry Potter ( si j’ai le temps de tous les lire avant le mois d’août!). Étant donné que je lis la saga en VO, je mettrais toutes mes citations tirées du livre en anglais ! Mais « Don’t worry ! », même si l’anglais n’est pas votre truc, je suis persuadée que vous saurez comprendre ce dont je veux vous parler ! 😉

PERSONNAGE PRÉFÉRÉ

Cedric Diggory

Eh oui ! Comme je pense, la plupart des lectrices, Cédric est mon personnage préféré dans ce quatrième volet ! Pourquoi ? eh bien tout simplement parce qu’il est le « vrai » champion de Poudlard, c’est lui qui a été sélectionné (dans les règles, j’entends) et puis il est loyal, il a été très sympa avec Harry pendant le tournoi en lui donnant des tuyaux quant aux épreuves… etc. Bref, comme vous le voyez, les arguments ne manquent pas ! Et je pense que le fait qu’il soit interprété par Robert Pattinson dans le film n’y est pas pour rien ! 🐱

La découverte de la Pensine

Je ne sais pas pourquoi mais j’adore ce moment! Sûrement parce que la Pensine de Dumbledore est un objet symbolique de la saga, je ne sais pas. Enfin bon, le fait est que je voulais le mettre dans cet article!

« He wanted to touch it, to find out what is felt like, but nearly four year’s experience of the magical world told him that sticking his hand into a bowl full of some unknown substance was a very stupid thing to do. He therefore pulled his wand out of the inside of his robes, cast a nervous look around the office, looked back at the contents of the basin, and prodded them. The surface of the silvery stuff inside the basin began to swirl very fast.

Harry bent closer, his head right inside the cabinet. The silvery substance had become transparent; it looked like glass. He looked down into it, expecting to see the stone bottom of the basin – and saw instead an enormous room below the surface of the mysterious substance, a room into which he seemed to be looking through a circular window in the ceiling. »

La bataille finale

La bataille finale de ce livre, j’entends! Comment ne pas citer ce passage dans mes moments préférés?

« You won’t ? » said Voldemort quietly, and the Death Eaters were not laughing now. « You won’t say « no » ? Harry, obedience is a virtue I need to teach you before you die… perhaps another little dose of pain? »

Voldemort raised his wand, but this time Harry was ready; with the reflexes born of his Quidditch training, he flung himself sideways onto the ground; he rolled behind the marble headsdtone of Voldemort’s father, and he heard it crack as the curse missed him.

« We are not playing hide-and-seek, Harry », said Voldemort’s soft, cold voice, drawing nearer, as the Death Eaters laughed. « You cannot hide from me. Does this mean you are tired of our duel ? Does this mean that you would prefer me to finish it now, Harry ? Come out, Harry… come out and play, then… it will be quick… it might even be painless… I would not know… I have never died… »

Harry crouched behind the headstone, and knew the end has come. There was no hope… no help to be had. And as he heard Voldemort draw nearer still, he knew one thing only, and it was beyond fear or reason – he was not going to die crouching here like a child playing hide-and-seek; he was not going to die kneeling at Voldemort’s feet… He was going to die upright like his father, and he was going to die trying to defend himself, even if no defence was possible.

Before Voldemort could stick his snake-like face around the headstone, Harry had stood up… He gripped his wand tightly. […] Voldemort was ready. As Harry shouted « Expelliarmus! », Voldemort cried « Avada Kedavra! ».

Rita Skeeter : La vengeance d’Hermione

Voilà un moment qui m’a beaucoup fait rire et qui n’apparaît malheureusement pas dans le film. En effet, on découvre ce qu’il advient finalement de Rita Skeeter, l’odieuse journaliste que tout le monde déteste.

« As a matter of fact », added Hermione […],« Rita Skeeter isn’t going to be writing anything at all for a while. Not unless she wants me to spill the beans on her. »

« What are you talking about ? » said Ron.

« I found out how she was listening in on private conversations when she wasn’t supposed to be coming into the the grounds », said Hermione in a rush. […] « Well, it was you, really, who gave me the idea, Harry », she said.

« Did I ? » said Harry, perplexed. « How ? »

« Bugging », said Hermione happily.

« But you said they didn’t work- »

« Oh, not electronic bugs », said Hermione. « No, you see…Rita Skeeter – Hermione’s voice trembled with quiet triumph – is an unregistered Animagus. She can turn – » Hermione pulled a small scaled glass jar out of her bag. « – into a beetle. »

« You’re kidding », said Ron. « You haven’t… She’s not… »

« Oh, yes, she is », said Hermione happily, brandishing the jar at them. […] « I caught her on the window-sill in the hospital wing. Look very closely, and you’ll notice the markings around her antennae are exactly like those foul glasses she wears. »
